Friendly, attentive service, the dishes were quickly on the table and tasty. The castle cellar offers a menu with Russian specialties, which was a nice change. If you like, you can even take frozen portions home with you. The dining room is small, but there is plenty of space on the terrace with a view of the church, castle and valley. The castle cellar is not far from the exit of the forest botanical garden, it can be returned before or after the visit. All cards are accepted.
Best restaurant in town! Phenomenal cuisine and the most delicious drinks :)
Once and never again The breading of the giant schnitzel was burnt from the underside in places. The beef stroganoff came from the microwave in our opinion. Expected more.
The food is delicious and freshly prepared. I had beef stroganoff and was very satisfied. The amount was sufficient. The waiting time was a little long for a larger group sitting outside.
In itself a nice terrace with a view, but unfortunately not really well maintained. The tables were glued, the menus were passed from table to table without wiping anything off. Service was okay. We were disappointed with the ice cream ... for an ice cream sundae with two mini balls the price-performance ratio is not right. Pity!
Wedding anniversary dinner! Ordered for 9 people by email, which was also confirmed. The table was nothing, nothing set or prepared. There was cutlery later from a plastic basket to take out yourself. Everything the waitress brought was left at a corner of the table to be passed on independently to his family. Without exception, every meal was carelessly placed on the plate. "Beef Stroganoff" from the microwave, the strips of meat cold and lukewarm and what a sauce to go with, this had in the least something to do with Stroganoff. The potato wedges from the deep fryer were hot. Wareniki dumplings from the freezer, which accordingly tasted of the refrigerator and its internal environment. All further lists of the dishes would go beyond the scope! All in all, a huge disappointment, although after entering the not very inviting Burg-Keller we were still hoping for good and tasty Russian cuisine.
Visually not well-kept. Food okay, unfortunately, price / performance ratio not correct.
Nice restaurant with a terrace that invites you to stop. The service was very friendly. The ice cream was delicious and the Russian herb cola was very refreshing.
Nice condition and delicious Russian food. You just have to expect longer waiting times.
We went to the Burgkeller, partly because of the positive reviews. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The ambience is very simple and not really cozy. It started with a dirty menu, went on with a non-carbonated ginger ale. And the food wasn't what the menu promised. We had a. Bigus ..... with roasted pork, which could hardly be found in the many sauerkraut, it was so little. Mushrooms were not included, but were in large quantities. They were dried mushrooms that were very hard. You also had to look for meat at the Tsar Kascha. And the children's menu was anything but lovingly arranged. The waitress was friendly and wanted to invite us for a drink. We will definitely not eat there again. Too bad.
Good russian chickens, very friendly.
Solid, tasty, Russian cuisine. Good service. I like to be here
Delicious Russian dishes are served here, I chose Bigus as the main course and Ponchiki as the dessert. Both tasted extremely delicious. Russian draft beer has also tasted. The view from the terrace is wonderful. The service staff was quick and friendly. Prices are great. I can recommend a visit.
Very small and cozy place. Great food. Tastes great. Very nice and quick conditions. Great prices. I can really recommend it.
Všechno super !! Delicious food and drink, the most beautiful view from the terrace :)
Highly Recommended! A relaxed atmosphere with a friendly and courteous host who also answers questions about his dishes in a pleasant way. I had the golden chicken (chicken liver on grated cake) and it was excellent! The homemade mulled wine is an insider tip. Nice that such a nice economy has moved into the old walls!
We visited the castle cellar after a very long time and were curious about what has changed. Since we were there with a group on reservation, there was understandably a reduced card. Everyone could find something and was mostly satisfied with the chosen dish. The service was very friendly and endeavored to fulfill our wishes. The lounge was very pleasant for us. We are already thinking of a new meeting in this place next year.
always delicious, nice
Eat home-style German and Russian. Price reasonable. Service nice. We would love to come back.
We spent a very nice evening in the Tharandt castle cellar. This place is highly recommended to anyone who would like to try authentic Russian dishes. But even those who prefer good home-style cooking will find what they are looking for here. We were served by the friendly chef personally, who was able to provide us with detailed information on the preparation of the dishes with specialist knowledge. From the terrace, where we could sit, we had a great view of Tharandt while we were eating delicious. All in all a great evening. We'll definitely be back.
Good food. Good people
Very delicious!
